The older boys had a merit badge college Florence so we decided to all go and spend the night - the hotel was right on the dam - so this was our "dam vacation" we stayed in the dam hotel and ate at the dam restaurant in the hotel - DH and my dad had a field day... just a side note - when we were at the library the week after S pulled some rocks out of his jacket pocket. He was so excited and he announced he found his ... dam rocks in his pocket.
The restaurant was so bad - every glass they brought out was dirty and the food was less than expected... If you ever go - don't eat at the dam restaurant.
The pattern the ice made was so pretty I had to take a picture.
